Peter “Stoney”
Emshwiller has been filming movies since before he could walk. Well, maybe
just after. Okay, a while after.
But growing up with a renowned filmmaking father (Ed
Emshwiller) certainly put the necessary camera equipment in his sticky
little paws at an early age.
From Stoney’s seminal work creating stop-motion
animation with his Matchbox cars, it was obvious the little tyke had celluloid
in his veins. Over the years that celluloid has gradually morphed into
cellulite, but the passion is still the same. Except for the toy cars.
The passion for them has faded a bit.
